Pokemon GO was released on July 6th. It is the most anticipated mobile game of 2016. Unfortunately, it released only in some countries like America, Canada, Portugal, Norway, Russia, United Kingdom, Spain. The game is still awaited in a lot more countries and will be released sooner or later everywhere.
Pokemon Go is a free to play game but you can be bought Pokemon GO Plus which is a device that you can wear like a watch and it will enhance enjoyment of the augmented reality game. It will cost around 34.99 $ and it can be bought from Amazon. Pokemon GO Plus will connect to your phones via Bluetooth and will notify players about events like the appearance of a Pokemon nearby.
Like in the animated series, before you begin your adventure you will have to choose between Bulbassaur, Charmander and Squirtle. The one you choose will be your trusted companion that will help you “Catch `em all”. There are 151 Pokemon in Pokemon Go that are waiting for you to train them. Within those there are all-time favorites like Pikachu, Gengar, Onix, Eevee, but also legendary Pokemon like Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres. After you will achieve level 5 you will be asked to choose a team from the three teams in Pokemon GO: Team Valor (Red), Team Instinct (Yellow) and Team Mystic (Blue), which one will you choose ?
The method of catching Pokemon is probably the biggest difference between Pokemon GO and the Pokemon games. While you’ll still encounter them in the wild, you won’t actually battle them. Instead, capturing them is determined by the Pokemon’s level, the type of Pokeball used, and even how you throw the Pokeball.
The Pokemon you will find will depend where you are in the real world, for example, you will probably find more water types Pokemon near rivers and more grass types in the park.
Evolving Pokemon
Evolving Pokemon in Pokemon GO requires you to gather Stardust and Candies. Every capture increases Stardust but you have to capture the same Pokemon to obtain character-specific Candies. You can`t use Candies from a character to evolve another. You can also obtain Candies by transferring Pokemon back to Professor Willow.
Now let`s talk a bit about Pokestops, Pokemon GO uses landmarks in your vicinity to create Pokéstops and Pokemon Gyms, and everything from national monuments to local curiosities can be a discovery in the game. Walk along the street, and a nearby plaque or historical object can serve as a Pokestop. These appear as cubes until you are close enough to use them. Once close enough, the cube becomes a circle and selecting it shows you landmark that is plotted by this Pokestop.
This image becomes a spinning marker. Spin the marker until its blue color becomes a light purple and it releases Pokeballs. As you move through the levels, you can also collect Potions, Revive tokens, Lure modules, Razz Berries and Great Balls among other gifts.
Gyms are the only form of Pokemon battles between you and an opponent from a rival team. Victory is determined by your Pokemon’s Combat Power, while the fights themselves involve tapping to attack and swiping to dodge.
